Saturday, May 1, 2004
Dotsero to Hanging Lake

The Rocky Mountain Canoe Club is an organization for paddlers in the Colorado area covering all aspects of paddle sports from flat water to white water with an emphasis on the open canoe.

Meet and greet new club members on this beginner trip.  Everyone is welcome! Invite your friends to join you on this easy 10 mile paddle on a section of the Colorado River through breathtaking Glenwood Canyon.  What better way to get away from rising temperatures in Denver and be cool on the river.  There will be a barbecue/potluck at the take-out afterwards.

Directions:
Exit I-70 at Dotsero, Colorado. Go to north side of I-70. Go to east side of Colorado River. You will find a large parking lot, toilets and boat ramps.
