Description:
Three stunning days and two spectacular desert nights on the Colorado River in Utah.  After a long drive the night before and a long morning shuttle, put in at Cisco for a Class I run down 5 pleasant miles to a BLM campsite. 2nd day: Ease on down to the new Dewey Bridge where life, the river, and the scenery get more interesting. Rapids ramp up with many delightful Class I and II rapids.  Camp Night Two across the river from Fisher Towers and enjoy the desert at its best and hottest. Day 3 has a possible early exit to hussle back to Denver, but the full trip to Big Bend includes more fun water and gorgeous scenery. Many swimming stops to cool down and enjoy. The last several miles of the trip border Arches National Park.  Total trip 35 miles.  Helmets and experience on Class II rapids is required, as are personal (or small group) BLM-approved toilets.  ACA membership or $5 plus waiver required.  Call 720-228-4128 (day) or email canyonwren22@comcast.net to sign up.
