For Sale: Mad River Freedom
This tandem boat is great for river tripping on Class 1-II rivers. Already rigged with cane seats, spray skirt, thigh straps and tie-downs. $600. Contact Greg or Karen: Call (303) 989-4833 or email wwcanoe@comcast.net. March 2008.
For Sale: Kevlar Shaman
13 ft, 2 in. Completely outfitted. This is a performance solo canoe, originally designed for the 4-meter class in slalom and down-river racing (not to be confused with the ABS Shaman). Given its length, there is ample room for over-night gear making it a great canoe for wilderness river trips. Weight, 47 lbs including outfitting. Some scratches but no structural damage. $900 (new $2195). Contact Bob or Jill: Call (303) 444-3979. April 2008
For Sale: Kevlar Wenonah Odyssey
18 ft, 6 in. Excellent condition. Similar to the Kevlar Minnesota II Ultra Lite ($2499), but with a heavier, 62-lb, lay-up. This boat handles remarkably well paddled empty (we bought it for down-river racing), although it’s best known for its sea worthiness with heavy loads. Equipped with a stern foot brace, bow bucket seat, stern cane seat. $1200 Contact Bob or Jill: Call (303) 444-3979. April 2008
