Notice to sellers: Please watch out for fradulent e-mails from people you don't know, requesting to buy your equipment. Require full identification from potential buyers, and verify it. Do not accept cash-back schemes or other suspicious payment schemes. Verify checks with the issuing bank in advance of letting the equipment go. Beware of phony escrow services. Classified ads are listed as a free service to our members.

• Membership verification: Please be sure your full name is somewhere in your e-mail to us, if not in the ad itself.
• Basic descriptions are helpful, such as canoe, kayak, C1, solo vs. tandem, whitewater/touring/tripping, and length.
• Use existing ads as models; spell out words where possible.
• Please include your name, phone number and/or e-mail address in the ad, as you would like to see them published.
• Please keep your ad to a reasonable length, about 8 lines max, for a single-item ad. Multiple-item ads are also OK.
• Photos may be included. Send them as links or e-mail attachments. Jpg or gif, please.
• Maximum file sizes for photos: 300 kbytes. Please do your own cropping and reduction.
• Embedded links to other pages such as your self-hosted photo set, or manufacturer's info, are welcome and encouraged. Just include a valid web address.
• We might also reprint your ad in the RMCC newsletter.
