The Rocky Mountain Canoe Club is an organization for paddlers in the Colorado area covering all aspects of paddle sports from flat water to white water with an emphasis on the open canoe.
Members are encouraged to submit canoeing photographs to add to these photo pages. Because of disk quotas, file sizes are limited, and we can only include a few photos per trip.Guidelines:
- Preferred file format: JPG.
- Please do your own cropping and reduction, if possible.
- Full-size images, landscape format:
Preferred pixel size 600 wide x 400 high, or less. Maximum 950 x 600.- Full-size images, portrait format:
Preferred pixel size 400 wide x 600 high, or less. Maximum 600 x 950.- Preferred file size 100 KB or less. Maximum 200 KB.
- Color depth: 8 to 24 bits. 16 bits seems to be optimal for website purposes.
- More color depth reduces the available picture size, within a limited file size.
- Thumbnail images are optional, but save work for us.
- Thumbnail size: About 200 pixels wide x 140 high, reverse for portrait.
- Send photos as e-mail attachments to: Photo Page Editor
- Include descriptions in the e-mail:
Photographer's full name; brief title for each photo;
group name (trip, location, etc.) for photos, if applicable.
